For the first brief, i found it difficult to produce an idea i had in mind, on computer. I was confident to create my idea on paper, but to create it from scratch on either Photoshop or Illustrator is something i need a lot more practice in. Over time hopefully, it’ll get better

:. For a place that’s monotonous, blocked both literally & in tint, a simple burst of colour is both pleasing to the eye & adds difference to a repetitive scene. As it’s shaped to blend within it’s immediate surrounding, it can be easily missed, although, once noticed, its colour is inviting & catchy

:. Javier Mariscal’s. Simple, child friendly, story telling had a quirky humour with a small, yet welcoming appearance. Through it’s demur setting, the cardboard cut outs enhance the clip visually. His art wants to relate to the simpler things in life, which is less is definitely more

:. This piece of art was secluded & had a sense of enclosed privacy, ironic, as it’s primary statement was that of the complete opposite, i.e. small font reading, “you are being watched, say something”. A feeling of ‘being on stage’ sets in when you see yourself on screen from the outside looking in, confirming general lack of discretion. For the freedom you think you have, it’s misconstrued in appearance & very easily missed
